Can I create a collage?

Several of our Photo Blankets are great for making a collage. In order to ensure the best outcome, there are a few guidelines to follow. The limiting factor is the detail the blanket is capable of reproducing. The more detail the photo blanket can reproduce, the more photos you can use. The best choice is the fleece because the image is printed.

There are exceptions to every rule so if you have a special request, please let us know. All collages are arranged in rows and columns, for example three rows of three. For this reason some combinations do not generally work well, like five, seven and eight. For example, if you have eight photos but still want to create a collage, you can use the ninth spot for text.

Creating your own collage:

If you would like to create your own collage and send us the completed file, you are very welcome to do so. You'll find the image requirements for each blanket listed in the 'Image Requirements' tab on the product page. This will ensure a proper fit and avoid any cropping of your image.

Submitting your photos for a collage photo blanket:

The order form will allow you to attach just one image. When ordering a collage photo blanket, place your order without attaching any images. When you receive your receipt by email (it should arrive just a few minutes after completing your order), simply reply to that email and attach your files. If the files are very large, you may need to send one at a time. We'll then create and email your proof for you to review prior to production. For more information, please see submitting a photo.
